One of our leading DMC partners, Event Partners Ireland, was tasked with finding a suitable location within 90 minutes of the city centre to host a Bespoke Incentive Adventure with vehicle and helicopter access for their clients. As a trusted supplier of theirs, Event Partners Ireland approached us to assist them with the challenge and we readily accepted.
Our Operations Director, Will, then had the task of sourcing and securing this “off the beaten trail” location. Once secured, Will and the team planned out every minute of the itinerary to keep the clients engaged in adventure from arrival to extraction.
On Saturday 9th June 2018, the day arrived! The weather alone was enough to guarantee a successful event with blue skies and high temperatures. An experience of a lifetime awaited.
A total of 24 delegates were collected from The Marker Hotel and chauffeured in a fleet of “Expedition Ready” Land Rovers to a secret location in the heart of the Wicklow Mountains.
On arrival, the group experienced a “wild” BBQ lunch prepared by our bushcraft chef, Aidan. All of the ingredients used for this lunch were sourced directly from the Wicklow Mountains, including the Venison Sausages!
Following on from lunch, the afternoon was filled with Adventurous Experiences such as fire lighting, axe throwing, kayaking, rock climbing and abseiling. Afterwards, delegates had an Irish Whiskey Tasting experience with Glendalough Distillery Whiskeys which were washed down with a Beer Tasting session of Wicklow Wolf Brewery Beers.
After a day filled with local flavour, outdoor experiences and thirst quenching beverages, their DMC, Event Partners Ireland, arranged for these clients to be dropped back to their hotel in true Bespoke Adventure style; by helicopter!
