Workshop Outline: 

  • Welcome & Icebreaker – An icebreaker/energiser to set the tone and connect the group

  • Interactive Learning Session – Exploring the principles of employee engagement through an experiential team activity

  • Reflection & Insights – Guided debrief with team reflections, feedback, and practical strategies to strengthen employee engagement and connection across the workplace  (Team Assessment Tool or DiSC Assessment can be used to guide the debrief)

Recommended Activity: Beat the Box

In Beat the Box, teams work under pressure to crack codes, solve puzzles, and unlock layered mystery cases before time runs out. This immersive exercise challenges groups to communicate clearly, leverage diverse strengths, and coordinate under constraint. As delegates race to “beat the box,” they build resilience, boost trust, and see first-hand how small shifts in collaboration and shared focus can transform performance and engagement in real workplace situations.
