What is Blockbusters On Location?
BlockBusters On Location is a remote team building activity that invites participants to translate company business messages or brand values into dynamic, attention-grabbing movie trailers that cut through the clutter and capture the essence of the issue at hand.
After a short group briefing on Zoom, we divide your group into teams of 3-5 delegates and send them to a private breakaway room where they begin brainstorming a storyline for their movie. They produce a storyboard of 6-10 scenes and choose a soundtrack. Then it’s all systems go to capture the scenes on their phones or tablets and upload them to our server. Our editors receive them in real-time and under the guidance of the team, assemble their Oscar-winning movie.

In this highly engaging remote team activity participants learn that with the right approach physical separation is no barrier to meaningful collaboration and high-quality output. Each team is given a theme and must employ forethought, planning and expert execution to make it relevant. Our editors bring everything together and the session concludes with a premiere of all the movies in a glittering Oscar ceremony.
