What is The Duke's Treasure?
The Duke’s Treasure is a high-energy, immersive team development experience set within woodland areas or venue lawns. Delegates must work in teams to solve ten interconnected challenges that will lead them to locating and unlocking the Duke’s lost treasure.
The challenges combine mental and physical tasks, ranging from solving riddles and deciphering cryptic questions to navigating an obstacle course (blindfolded!), collecting items to light a lantern and transporting treasure chests. Delegates must rely on and support one another to conquer each challenge successfully.
How can it help your team?
In the Duke’s final challenge, team must reflect on what they learned in each previous challenge to piece together the final puzzle. The challenge forces teams to review past teamwork strategies to succeed.
We offer a debrief session at the end of this activity where teams can reflect on the following questions:
- What key lessons helped you succeed?
- How did past mistakes guide your final approach?
- How can these skills be applied in real-world teamwork?
